Arrival QAIA. Meet & assist by our Al-Hani representative. Transfer to hotel for fresh up before having dinner in Kan Zaman, the 120-years old Jordanian village converted to a deluxe 5-star. Overnight at hotel. Amman.:Day 1
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. The 3,000 years old city, Amman, awaits you for the coming 3hrs to explore the ancient history & modern life. In Reem Al-Bawadi you will enjoy the “Hash Wa Nash“ (different styles of grilled meat). Then take seat behind the wheel of your 4WD jeep to penetrate the Eastern Desert part of Jordan. First station is “Qasr Hallabat“, which leads to the “Ghost city of Umm Al-Jimal“. Proceed to the headquarters of Lawrence of Arabia in the oasis of Azraq, crossing the spacious desert, passing at As-Safawi. Visit the castles; Qasr Amra & Qasr Al-Kharanah. Qasr Tuba is the last station in the eastern part of Jordan, where the “Big Bedouin“ tent awaits you to enjoy a hot mint tea around the fire, listen to the Bedouin stories of love & their desert life. Here, the dinner “Mansaf“ (lamb, rice & yogurt sauce) will be served. Overnight in tent, under a starry sky in the silence of the desert Qasr Tuba.:Day 2
Wake-up by the first sun-rays and have breakfast. Then drive to Tafilah, where the Dana Natural Reserve is surrounded by the Sharah mountains. This is the place to challenge the rough nature by hiking & to share the wild animal's territory. Experience the ”Habla Babla“ (water pipe) in the Resthouse and relax. Dinner & overnight. Dana Resthouse.:Day 3
Breakfast at the Dana Resthouse. Proceed on the Desert Highway to “Wadi Mousa“, to discover the ancient capital of the Nabataeans; the “Rose-Red-City“ of Petra. A city forgotten for centuries to the West, hidden away between the high mountains for the past 2,000 years. Ride your horse to the only entrance of Petra, the “Siq“ and after a walk through this defile, see the Treasury (Al-Khazneh), the famous site known from the movie “Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade“. After this exciting trip, spoil your body for 2hrs in the “hammam” (Turkish bath) with massage in Petra. Then we go to the camp in “Little Petra“. A hot mint tea refreshes you, before taking dinner “Zarb“, (a complete lamb rapped with its fleece cooked underground). Night-tour of Little Petra, proceed enlightened by candles to Siq Al-Barid and then back to the camp for overnight. Little Petra. :Day 4
During breakfast your 4WD jeep will be prepared to take off to Wadi Rum. By your 4WD jeep you pass the old caravan route for spices & incenses of the Nabataeans, starting from “Old Humaima“ & “New Humaima“, crossing the desert of Rum, up & downs over the sandy hills, limestone mountains, towering cliffs, seeing Thamodic inscriptions and a huge statue to protect the desert from strangers. Next to the Thamodic Khazali passage is the camp. Folklore Bedouin songs & music accompany you at dinner, around the fire. Wadi Rum.:Day 5
Another beautiful morning starts to share a Bedouin breakfast. Wonder in the house of Lawrence of Arabia about the intelligence of those people living in this area finding their inventive ways to tell each tribe how to find its water sources. Climb the natural bridge, the Burda Bridge. Expect at any moment an attack by Bedouins on their camels, just like the past. Make a camelride to the unforgettable site for watching the sunset. Enjoy the time, while waiting for our surprise, during dinner around the fire place.Wadi Rum:Day 6
After breakfast, we proceed to Aqaba through the Rum desert. Aqaba, the resort lies at the Red Sea with sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and some of the most well preserved coral reefs in the world. It is the perfect place to practice scuba-diving & for tanning on the beach. At night, have BBQ on board, while making a cruise up to the Saudi Arabia border. Back to hotel & overnight.Aqaba.:Day 7
